Chasing myself down a Mink hole (they're like Rabbit holes except lined with nicer fur so you never want to leave...) I found this 2012 Colorado Appeals court opinion in: SLATER NUMISMATICS, LLC, a Colorado limited liability company, Plaintiff- "Appellant, v. DRIVING FORCE, LLC, d/b/a ANACS, a Colorado limited liability company, Defendant- "Appellee. http://caselaw.findlaw.com/co-court...1604108.htmlBasically Slater sued DF for tortuous interference because DF (ANACS) interfered with Slater's relationship with ICG by hiring away all the graders and undercutting costs to Cable Shopping Network. DF moved to dismiss (summary judgment) and was granted and Slater appealed. Now the appeals court notes that the appeal is not about the facts, rather an appeal of summary judgment requires ALL of the facts to be viewed in the most favorable light to Slater and the Appeals court is merely finding that if that is how a jury sees things, there is a reasonable chance they could rule for Slater. I.e. if there's a reasonable change, let 'em pitch it to a jury. The appeals court found for Slater in 2012, but I can't find ANY information on what happened when the case went back to the trial court. Anybody know? -----Burton 50+ year / Life / Emeritus ANA member (joined 12/1/1973) Life member: Numismatics International, CONECA Member: TNA, FtWCC, NETCC, EveryCountry (online) coin club Owned by three cats and a wife of 40+ years (joined 1983) Author: 3rd Edition of the Sample Slabs book, https://www.sampleslabs.info/

Not this conspiracy theory again You have a few buck. You want to start your own business. You recruit people and friends who you can trust and believe in their abilities. Now all of a sudden you and your company are under slanderous lawsuit. Unless all of your trusted friends were under a non compete clause contract I don't see the merit here

It takes a LONG time to get a trial. Usually it is about 4-6 years. Since this appeal was in 2012, you might need to wait another 2-4 years until this case has been tried in court. Either that or both companies settled and there was not trial.

The court docket would show if it was dismissed, or whatever filings have been made, but the trial level in CO is not available online, so we would need a local member to wander over and look.

if it were "settled", there might be a formal discontinuance by one party, or the other, or both, on the court file. But it is also possible, that neither party could be bothered wasting further time, effort, &/or money, to lodge a formal discontinuance. Until someone invokes the jurisdiction of the court, the file will lie dormant. Further inquiries might be better directed to one of the parties ... Which is a longwinded way of agreeing with CoinLover.
