39mm, feels like pewter. I wonder if it was about to get holed but never did. Does it have any value? It kind of looks like a cheap fake to me.

It looks like CIL below the bust, which could be Cilian Koch. I'm away from my references but I believe he was an engraver in Nuremburg for one of the Rechenpfennig makers.

CIL may be the initials of Christopher Jacob Leherr, an Augsburger medallist whose career was cut short in 1707 when he was beheaded for forgery.

OK, I'm home. The reverse is a knock off of a Jean Mauger medal which usually features Louis XIV in armour on the obverse. These medals are heavily reproduced, to a very high standard and fetch high prices.
It's possible that yours is a second tier reproduction. Possibly for the souvenir market.
