Help With Grade 1827 Half Dollar - Coin Community Forum

cipster Pillar of the Community United States 2364 Posts	Posted 09/14/2014 1:59 pm I picked this up at a coin show this morning. I think it is an O-117. I liked the surfaces and luster, but it's difficult to photograph. Any comments on grade would be appreciated. Member ANA and EAC "You got to lose to know how to win". I`m gonnah go a bit lower than the others and say AU-50, there is very little to no strike weakness here so the worn points on the obverse are... well actually just worn points. I was thinking AU53 when I talked to the seller but got him down to an XF price because I was unsure about whether it was a weak strike or some wear in circulation.
