I got a '22 Peace dollar in change at the drive through window at Taco bell about two years ago. It's now one of my pocket pieces. https://goccf.com/t/126126&whichpag...ms=Taco,Bell

The only Morgan I have was "found" at my dealer's in a PCGS slab. Although I did find a silver certificate at work once. I was doing a bank deposit & noticed the blue ink standing out like a mustache on a cheerleader.

The only time I've "found" silver dollars besides buying them, a few were passed down to me.

For a while at one of the banks I use, tellers were looking out for any large dollar coins for me. Unfortunately this bank, like most have great turnovers in personal so that stopped. For a while though I did get about close to 100 large dollar coins and a few were Morgans.

I gave a co-worker 2 bags of mangos from my trees, the Lady knew I collected coins and gave me a 1897 Morgan dollar and a 1933 Halve Dollar as a token of her appreciation!

I've never found a single Ike in circulation, let alone a Morgan or Peace.

One of my old co-workers told me that she received a 1878 Morgan back in the early 80s when she worked as a clerk in a convenience store. Some kid spent it on a box of candy.

I received an uncirculated Morgan dollar from my neighbor when I was a kid, along with a silver certificate and 1 ounce in silver nuggets (was in a special case). He was a coin dealer and he and my parents were good friends. Still have it.

Never have found one at the bank, but

I have dug an 1887 Morgan, and 1924 Peace dollar in the last three years.
The Morgan in an old picnic area, and the Peace off the side of an old ballfield.

I got a stack of 10 large dollar coins in a teller tray, while getting cash for the coins I was dumping. In the middle of the stack, I saw a silver streak.

1925 Peace dollar

you never know, just like fishing.

I once walked into a bank and asked for any large dollar coins they may have had brought into them. The teller told me to hold on, someone did bring in a large bag of silver dollars earlier that day. Of course I thought she was talking about Eisenhowers. She preceded to bring a bag full of morgans and Peace dollars. 128 of them!
