Poll Question
Hey guys, lately I've been buying up Voyageur silver dollars from the early 1960's. Many of them are still sealed in their cellophane packaging - they were obviously part of an annual set with other coins but cut away and made as a single item.

I've been considering removing them from the cellophane and placing them in Lighthouse coin capsules. Not sure which is better for long term storage - plastic wrapping or the plastic capsule. I should mention that at this moment that none of them at this point indicate toning or spots that would have been caused from exposure to the outside air.

How should I store them?

Thanks!

If they are showing no signs of spotting or degrading, leave them in OGP.

I have seen Voyageurs go milky in the original plastic wrapping.

I agree with sel691.
I've had some silver dollars go milky or discolour from being in original cellophane. I now store them in lighthouse capsules for better protection and easier to store with my other coins in capsules.
