I know that this is a token from Venezuela worth 1/4 Real, but that is about it. I found one at a Heritage Auction but not a lot about it. I'm wondering what it is and how much it might be worth. I'm not sure if this post should be here or the token section. Thanks.

Translation with google translate:
Specifications issued by the Company and 'Gadea y Sandrea', another important house for import and export of Puerto Cabello struck in 1850 2 types of tokens of a quarter real but actual dates of 1855 and 1856. The wear shows that they were very popular and widely used. Both chips have as a hunting dog, large motif.

As I mentioned earlier, in the Puerto Cabello were several estates, I could verify the existence of in 3 of them in records:
Hda. Puerto Cabello,
Hda. The Cambur
and Hda. Urama.
Unfortunately I could not find pictures or information about them.

Above is a translation from the website, posted by Victor.

I found it in my Latin American Tokens Guide by Russel Rulau.

Its catalog number is Rulau: Cbo 33
1855 Brass 18mm
Listed at $50 in fine and $90 in VF

Other corresponding catalog numbers are listed as Ulex 2675 and Eklund 1213
No further information is provided.

Keep in mind that those values are rather old, many of the items listed in the guide have actual retail values of double what is listed, sometimes more
