Hi to all! My friend have found an interesting coin and it seems to be golden, but after endless research I could not find the origin, year, or if it is really made out of gold. Could anyone of you help me identifying it?
It is not gold but rather aluminum-bronze. What you have there is a 5 Mongo coin from Mongolia. It is dated as the Year 27 of Mongolian independence, ie the year is 1937.
The top of both coins is towards the left. The top one is the obverse with "27" under the centre symbol and the reverse has the large "5" on top.
