Grade And Fair Value? 1881-H Large Cent, Die Clashes Variety

Your coin is of the single Die-Clash variety. The double clash is the more valuable of the varieties and would be a 100+ coin in VF grade. Unfortunately, the single clash in VF is perhaps half the value of the double clash. doug Report this Post to the Staff

It is a nice solid coin with all devices and letering clear, good honest wear, uncleaned and unmolested. Well I care for one. I do not collect Canadian but but my spouse does so I am familiar with them. A nice circulated example with a die clash. I would not pay $150 to $200 like someone mentioned but would seriously concider it at a lower price. Not everyone can collect only high end UNC. It is a nice coin, Xshift.
