I pick this up for my type set. What do you guys think it grades, and does it make fs. I think it is probably around ms66 and I optimistically hope it makes fs. If it is FS I got an amazing buy on it. If it doesn't then it is an okay buy. Sorry for the lacking photo skills. I am horrible at taking pictures of lustrous coins like this.

Thanks for looking, and any opinions.

Took some photos in natural sunlight this morning. I know it can be harsh on the imperfections, but it is a lot more diffused and helps with the luster issue in my opinion.

With these new photos I think it just misses fs, but this is a tough date for fs. I payed 15 for it, so I still think I got a great price on it. Didn't really notice the crack from the E to N on the reverse till the photo or what appears to be a Retained Cud on the obverse right of trust.

Lovely coin ... very nice.

No way to judge by these photos the grade or FS status.

High MS is the best I can offer.

I would agree with high MS and very possibly MS.

OH...great job with the pictures man! I know those lusterous coins are the most difficult to capture....so don't knock yourself, those are excellent for web use. The white balance is good!

Only suggestion, just crop them a little tighter.

Thanks for the opions on this. It looks great in the 7070. A part of me wants to take a shot on third party grading in hopes of a FS designation, but for now that will wait and I probably never will send it in.
