beaglebailey Pillar of the Community United States 716 Posts	Posted 10/03/2014 7:11 pm When the 'L' is no longer visible due to wear then the only attribute to separate the 2 varieties is the shape of the bust. Even that is not always easy, and your coin is a good example. But I believe that this a narrow bust which would make this an 1864L. Report this Post to the Staff
