@SilverDon,
These are very nice coins and thank you for posting. I also collect Koalas series (from 2007), and Kooks just from 2011 (less like birds), but 2015 - the "must have milestone" imo.
No replies, cause here, unlike the Canadian thread (where we like to mix everything), more numismatic discussion, rather bullion. And I sure, these coins already have been mentioned in the bullion thread.

Wanted to see how long I could go posting without a reply, will keep it going anyway. Thanks Silveroid I posted them on the Bullion site.

Nice one @denco7, thanks for that, seems fitting for the 25th anniversary to replicate the first design.

I am real interested in the set of the bullion coin 2015 kookaburras. Really nice image! Great to look at! I have looked at the kg & 10oz for years and they were way out of my price range. Never thought that I would ever be able to buy them. ebay prices for other years of kookaburras are a more expensive than the current mint price. Interesting that the Kookaburra issue is a bit more expensive than the koala set but the koala set has a 1/2oz extra in its set.

@kg5 I like the looks of the 1/2 ounce Koala. I haven't put in the order but may do so with the 1/2 ounce silver Great White Shark.
The larger sizes are not for me.

Unlike lets say 25-yrs Anniversary of Canadian SML, the 2015 Kookaburra represents very elegant way (in my eyes): Just repeat the 1990 design, with small Privy Mark, and double -date. After 2014 I thought to quit collect this series (Koala enough for me), but 2015 Kook amazing, bought even 2. This one and 2015 Kangaroo 25 Anniversary by RAM (which is not bullion at all), my favorite "Anniversary coins" (+++ 1989 Proof SML)

I just received my first Kookaburra (2015) the other day and It's one of my new favorites. It's very reverse-proof like. I would like to get the massive 1 Kilo silver Kook too.

Great coin eh @welder. Wouldn't it be nice to have a big chunky kilo coin.

Does AU produce more silver Koala coins than Kookaburra coins? I have noticed the Kook's being sold-out long before Koala's.
