Hello folks,

I came across a 1943 nickel in my piggy bank and wondered if its a 1943 3/2 and if so, due to the condition, (its quite worn) is it worth anything?
Thanks...I am totally new to coin collecting, so wanted to ask the experts here.
Thanks

to CCF. It does not look like it to me. If you type in the search box upper left of page you will find info. We get this question a few times each year. Enjoy our great site.

Hello,

to CCF

The following photo from PCGS displays exactly what you should be looking for in the numerical digits of the 1943 nickel when confirming the existence or not of the 3 over 2:

I also find the following shot from Heritage Auctions helpful to compare one's coin to:

The lower serif of the 3 needs to have that extra little line.

Thanks John1 for the "welcome". I know where to go if I run across any other coinage I have a question about!
