Hi all.
I am back after a long time while I repaired my PC.
(I threw it aginst the wall)
Anyway, I have a coin that is puzzling me somewhat. I think it may be Greek but not sure. I am sure someone out there will know. You are all so clever!
(I've found flattery gets you a lot done)
Thanks to anyone who replies.

From the pics, all I can say is "I suspect you're right" about it being "Greek", as I think I can see Athena-wearing-Corinthian-helmet on the obverse. But beyond that, I can;t make anything out, and Athena appeared on the coins of far too many city-states for that to be of assistance in narrowing anything down.

The pictures are a bit too small to say for sure, but I suspect that Sap is correct.

Hi. Thanks for the replies and you correct that the images are not good enough. It asked for them to be 100 pixels I think which is a bit too small to show good detail. I can get good images but at that size they are not good.
Cheers
Rest in Peace

No, it asked for the file size to be 100kB. For a typical JPEG, you should get at least a 400x400 pixel square fairly easily into that size limit. Crop your pictures nice and close to maximize the available space for the coin itself.

I have good eye-sight, and I think that that's Athena on the obverse, but even for me it's very difficult. Give us a better picture!

Hi all.
Thanks to everyone who replied about this coin.
It seems that it may be Athena with Pan on the reverse erecting something. Just not sure what.
Just so you can all see it I have put the pic up again.
the reverse is much better but considering the coin could be as old as 250 BC, its not doing badly
I will also be putting another poser for you all shortly so dont go anywhere yet.
