macdon Valued Member Canada 495 Posts	Posted 10/19/2014 10:44 am I sold a nice collection of coins and paper money 2 years ago not because I needed the money which was far less than I had invested but I succumbed to family pressure and lack of interest from grandkids who are too busy with social media stuff these days. I realized soon after that it was a mistake and lesson learned that collecting is a personal joy and have since accumulated another collection and if I sell any it will be on my terms. brenpickle Pillar of the Community United States 836 Posts	Posted 10/19/2014 12:01 pm I have not sold anything that I cared about or didn't want to sell, but I have noticed that I have grown as a collecter. I am a lot more selective now on the coins I buy and try to be more focused on buying something for a set verse buying it because it is what I can afford.
