I was getting ready to list this on ebay and noticed the date looks like it's doubled also there is a chunk coming off the 1? So I thought I would see if any one knows if this is a common thing for this date? Thanks in advance for your help. Ken

I think the "chunk" is a gouge that plowed up a piece of the coin. I see the doubling, but don't know enough about the subject to confirm.

The chunk is PMD, and the doubling looks like MD.
