I came across this article on a Denver area Ike dollar hoard from 2011. It is probably old news around here.
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/...1130354.html

One of may favorite quotes from the article:

Quote:
John Hennessey, vice president of marketing for Littleton, estimated the price range per coin will be from $10 to more than several hundred dollars, depending on their condition.

Is there a list of all the dates/mms that came out of this hoard? I usually see 1977-D when they are on the bay. Just curious.

I don't doubt that at all. I just feel sorry for those that got burned by them.

That would be interesting.

They still have 74D-78D on their site from the hoard. The 77D is offered with some sort of club enrollment and there is a 3 coin set picked from 74D-78D in NGC MS 65 for $210. Of course you can get an unattributed Unc & Proof set for the low low cost of $810
