Hmm, there's not much to go on, there. The portrait looks 1500's to 1600's. If you boost the brightness on the top picture, you can read "...IH IV DV...". Guessing that "DV" is the Latin word dux (duke), and IV is the Duke's number in Roman numerals, then "IH" is part of the Duke's name. It's not from Florence itself, as far I can tell - there aren't any rulers numbered "IV" in the list of dukes of Tuscany.
I'm not sure where it's from. As far as other Italian States are concerned, Milan might be good; Philip IV of Spain was duke of Milan 1621-1665, and "IH" could be "PH" for Philip. Another possibility is Modena, where an Alfonso IV ruled 1658-1662. There aren't any small bronzes listed for either of these states in the 1600's catalogue, but this catalogue often omits the small change.
