I have these 2 gold sovereigns, one 1891 and 1892 and I'm not sure if they are real.

They look OK.
What are the accurate weights?
Why are you concerned?

Both 8.0 grams. I'm just wary, got them off of ebay. They seem real to me but I wanted a few opinions.

The weight of gold sovereign: 7.9881g @ .917 gold = .2354 oz AGW
If the weight and bulk (compare to other sovereigns) is right there is no real reason to be suspicious,
except for trying to sell copies made from inferior material there is no reason to counterfeit them. Even in top condition they are not worth much more than bullion.

Perhaps you could try a comparative ring tone test against a known genuine coin. Coins of lower purity will have a slightly higher pitch.
From the pictures they look OK, but some excellent sovereign fakes have been made, in some cases from gold that has a higher purity than genuine coins.

Good quality fake and genuine sovereigns were used for trading in the Middle East; that may help explain for the high purity fake coins being accepted in trade.

I have a us 5$ gold piece I could test against? Both of the sovereigns ping the same though. I'm pretty sure they are real just wanted to see what others thought.
