I recently picked this up from ebay, waiting on it shipping to me.
World-War-1-Medal-ID-And-Value? (obv^^)

Wondering if anyone can help me identify it and tell me what price it is worth because I am unsure whether to flip it over for money as I am unfortunately not a WWI medal collector and don't know much about it.

I might flip it over in the trade section of CCF so you guys can trade me some coins for this exonumia.

It's a Richmond, Virginia WWI Service Medal awarded to veterans of WWI by the city. On the OSMA website, it states:

Quote:
Issued in 1919 and 1920 to approx. 1500+ citizens of Richmond who were in war service http://www.omsa.org

One sold on Oct. 10th for $45 it was engraved and had the ribbon/pin. 301339391724

There's one on ebay currently with a Buy It Now price of $65 + $5 shipping, 2 watchers and it lacks the ribbon/pin like yours. 160778551934

I Googled and saw another website had one for $35 it had a replaced ribbon.

Value wise, medals aren't my forte so I listed some prices that I had seen elsewhere.

Thank you!
I don't have the medal in hand, but I don't quite see an engraving. Is there a reason why?
