I had ordered the coin, but I was hoping the vintage symbol was more prominent, I have been humming and hawing all day. I think I will cancel it and take my chances on the secondary market.

As per ususal Talisman's practice, they listed coin with the sale / discount:
Instead of List Price (per Talisman) of $149.95, they will charge $104.95 - which means discount of $45!! Is it hot item or discounted one?
In addition, if you buy 3 and more coins, you will pay only $99 per coin. What is this - bullion?
*Please note, the prices in USD and not CAD.

Silveroid; As you pointed out, jack up retail price then discount nearly the same amount and it's - us funds plus you have shipping - not a significant discount at all - just playing with the number...

You absolutely right, Electrum. By this partially sarcastic notice, I just let to know to our friends from US, that the coin is available on the Talisman, which is probably ships for less to US. And for the order of 3 coins, you will pay really bit less via Talisman , rather than RCM.

I'm a huge hockey fan and this design is very meh. Could of been better designed IMO.
I try to find every reason to buy one but the price is just too high. $119 for 1 oz silver coin? Come on. If it was in the $69.99- $79.99 range I would pick one up

Right now with the exchange rate and foreign service charge on the credit card, the Talisman price is better, unless you are a MC member when you get shipping for free to the U.S. - Talisman charges a minimum of $9.95. Plus with RCM it goes towards your MC purchase balance. I guess if you were buying three or more it would be slightly better - but if you were buying to resell, likely the main customers would reside in Canada anyway. I bought this one from the RCM....I tend to buy from Talisman if the coin isn't available from RCM (like the 5 oz loonie single.)

Not for nuthin' but it's awaiting stock at the Mint, just one in stock at Colonial Acres, I don't see it at all on CP website, but CCC and GW have it. Still guessing that HC have a significant portion of the 7500 mintage.
Incidentally, CCC states it will ship in December. I'd guess they will time it to be closer to the start of the WJHC on Boxing day. Hopefully, we will see Connor McDavid in Red and White.

I got a list early this morning of coins that are back ordered until dec. The hockey coin was on it. My wolves were on there too, dang, not shipping until dec. I've got 10 3/4 Oz wolves and they're beauties!! So I'm really hyped about the proof color one. Each time I really want a coin, it's on back order!!
I must say the mint has been really good with shipping up until now. The 2012 season was just horrible waiting times for many of the coins. It's nice to know, it's mainly an issue of the past.

The Bullion wolf crafted in silver, you can see the light "plays" with it's fur and the body of animal, head. While the colorized - it just a picture. The proof part not related to the animal itself, but to the mirrored surface. I would stay in distance from the coloured numis version. Same like previous year Polar Bear and Caribou.
