Im new to coin collecting and was wondering how you value canadian silver coins?

I use the Canadian Charlton Standarde Catalog for coin values but do keep in mind the current price of silver when I make any purchases, regardless of the country of origin. Many Canadian coins carry very high premiums, just as U.S. coin, but one must KEEP IN MIND the exchange rates for currency when buying. Hope this helps.

thanks. F.Y.I I actuolly didnt buy one I was given one by a family member and saw some on ebay so I was wondering what it could be worth. Thanks for the info!
