This-I-Have-To-Share!I found a little lead token, both sides the same:
two squirrels sitting and some other signs.
I found them in the UK :

They think it is a late medieval token.

Now it seems that they are used to seal a bottle of Johnny Walker Whiskey.
The symbol on the token is the coat of arms of the scottish city of Kilmarnock.

Wow, that's really cool! Until I read your description, I thought it was a barbarous imitation of a late Roman "two victories inscribing wreath set on altar" type.

A bottle cap though - that's something new! Reminds me a bit of the lead Theriac container caps that are sometimes found by metal detectorists around the Mediterranean.

I do not think it is a bottle cap.
It would be fixed on a rope
