Dime,
I just signed up for PCGS and plan on doing a pick the best Lincoln thread. I am going to go through the many BU rolls I have and pick out some to put up here. Then let the community pick the best ones and send them in for grading! I want to try and find some "top pops"!!

Cool Chris....good luck bro! If you hit some, you could auction them at ha.com and reclaim a lot of your coin spendings. Those registry set guys will pay huge dollars for bragging rights.

Thad,
That is what I was planing on doing since I have no interest in a registry set now. A guy who buys some of the same rolls I do sent in some that came back 67-68, top pops for the dates. I got a week or so left at work then some extended time off, along with more BU rolls coming in from various sources, should be an interesting thread! I also bought an example of a PCGS MS65 and 66 of the same date to compare mine to. I look forward to your input once I get things together!

I have just read a couple pages on this thread, but I like what I see! My only question, at this point is about the "toned cents. I have a lot of them that have evry color of the rainbow, and I don't think they are all "natural toning. Some I have "cooked, have come out with everything from just plain ugly black, to some very nice color combinations. They can't all be "heat-treated", as Coop says some of his are. All are wheats, BTW. Dick
