I love finding BU cents in my change. In my I have a 1964 and a 1968 found in circulation that are just the prettiest pristine coins.
Today I had not one but two canadian pennies in my change.

I found a 1945 wheat on the ground when I was at work today. Not a really rare find, but it is always cool when you look down to see the stalks of wheat looking up at you from the carpet.

 1982 no P? I just found 2 1965 pointed 5 Queen Elizabeth II Canadian 1 cent in one box. |

Those really SHINE don't they ?.....the ones I've come across around here, "circulated", have an incredible shine and glow about them !.... Two rolls of "uncirculated" might be able to land a plane at night I think ! Ha Ha LoL Congrats on the two rolls !....  Edited by eaglefoot

Today I had to buy a kitchen range for my rental house. Right in front of the one I bought was a 2008 (P) cent, supporting my theory that dropped pennies are seldom retrieved. Well, this old guy retrieved it, and it's now safely in my Whitman folder. And perhaps a half-hour previously I received a 2008-D nickel in change; it, too, is in the appropriate Whitman.

Speaking of pennies rarely retrieved from the ground, it's amazing how much spare change you can amass during a year just by picking up 'lost' coins....and the occasional dollar bill or few.

I love picking cents off the ground! People look at me like they can't believe I even bothered. I love the jackpots where you see several next to each other. Well, as I tell my kids, if you do this over the entire course of your life, you'll probably pick-up $200-300 for free!

This past week I found a 1956 nickel, a 1956d nickel, a 1960 nickel that looks BU, a 2003 Canadian cent (I think it's a proof...."P" under Queen Elizabeth and she looks different), a 1951 wheatie and....a 1915d wheatie....it's only in Good condition but still...I'm proud of the find  |

Two Wheaties in one week is pretty dang good !!........3 60 year old nickels and the Canadian proof is an extra added bonus !.....Man !.....You had a very luck week !
