I was searching through a box of nickels and found this nickel, it feels fake and as I show in the pictures thicker than a normal nickel. So what exactly is it? What-Is-This-A-Magician-Coin? What-Is-This-A-Magician-Coin?

Might be a proof. Would need a clearer photo to be certain.

It is a proof but it now has fingerprints all over it, please only handle by the edges A proof will have thicker rims when compared to a business strike due to the coin receiving multiple high pressure strikes.

It came out of a box of nickels, it's not like it was going to grade PR-68. Cut the guy some slack. It was circulated before and after he handled it.
