Hello! I found this in my bag of Wheats while I was randomly scanning them. It looks to have a filled 5 with some possible doubling of the 9? Please let me know what you think.

Jack

Hi Again Jack Head

Ok now were into something I'm more familiar with !!

The filled 5 is very common on this coin, I think I have 15 examples of this coin myself, I dont get a good view of the 9 in the pic, but I would have to believe that it is also similar to my own,, which I believe to be minor Strike Doubling, which is also very common on wheats from the 50's.

Thanks Rick. This is the first error coin I have discovered. Cool! Your help is greatly appreciated.
I have been collecting since I was a kid but only recently discovered all the different levels of collecting. With errors for example, I always thought the error would be very obvious. Now I know that sometimes you have to look long and hard at the coins you collect. My scanner has now helped me to do just that. It is also comforting to know that there are great people like yourself out there helping to inform people like me. Thank you again Sir.
