Because of the holiday season coming up soon, I won't be able to purchase any more coins for a while. Seeing as that was the case, I decided to begin the hiatus with a bang! I bought 3 coins that I had wanted for a very long time, and one more just because. Without further ado I will post the pictures!

Always wanted a coin with a Pegasus on it, so I went for this one, and am quite pleased with it.
Corinth Hemidrachm
1.45g
Obv: Head of Aphrodite right "AT" monogram to left
Rev: Pegasus Flying Left

This one has intrigued me for quite a while, and I'm glad to finally call it mine.
Moesia Inferior
Obv: Head of river god Istros, facing right.
Rev: Sea eagle standing left on back of dolphin
1.73 g

I got this one just because I felt like it, nothing particularly special about it, just decided to go for it.

Gallienus, Alexandria

Obv: IMP C LICIN GALLIEN, Laureate draped cuirassed bust right.
Rev: Eagle standing on head of bull.
4.42 g

And now for the one I was the most excited about! I now genuinely own a tiny coin!

Satraps of Caria, Hydissos, Hemiobol
Obv: Forepart of a bull left
Rev: Forepart of 2 bulls facing
.35 g

And just for fun, a picture of my smallest coin on top of my biggest coin! Hope you all enjoyed, these will have to tide me over until January!

Nice selection, congrats.
What is the diameter of that small one?

Great selection! Lots of animal images!

It's funny, you tell yourself that you will need to take a little break from purchases so: you have a little splurge before it begins; then restrict yourself to relatively less expensive ones but end getting three times more than you would ever have bought; then feel you are reducing your standards, so get one great biggy.....then decide not to eat so much and appreciate everyone's improving waistband. Hey a humble Christmas season is better for the soul anyway! ;-)

These are all very nice pieces. I love the size comparison on the last photo. I must say I really love the small silver bull.

Glad to get some validation about the silver bull! Something about it just spoke to me, and I like it even more in hand than in the photos I saw when I bought it! I'll try to get the diameter soon Medieval.
