I'd go AU-53. Nice toning Make that AU-55/58, that is a REALLY nice coin...

A lighter pic would be better, but from what I can see I would go with AU58

I can't lighten the pic with the tools I currently have. It's actual toning that you're seeing in the pics. I intend to get a quality digital camera (Canon S5-IS) and a copystand with lighting in the near future. That will let me really zoom in on the action.

I'd have to agree with the others. Some slight rub perhaps on breast and thigh (obverse). The leading edges of the wings, the eagle's breast and talons, though, look nearly perfect. No obvious signs of cleaning, at least from the pics. What a sweet coin. Too bad has those little irritating rim nicks. I'd love to have such a fine specimen in my collection. Congratulations.
