How To Quote A Reply? - Coin Community Forum

Maya New Member United States 21 Posts	Posted 09/05/2007 7:43 pm How does one quote a reply on a thread. Sometimes when a thread gets many comments one would like to respond to a particular reply. How do you quote that reply in order to make it clear what you are referring to? I am sure the answer is somewhere in these threads, but I have not found it yet. Report this Post to the Staff

tights24 Pillar of the Community United States 2254 Posts	Posted 09/05/2007 8:04 pm Hi Maya, welcome to the forum. Highlight the words you want to quote and right click and copy. When posting your reply, start by pasting the words into your post. Once pasted, highlight them again and select the quote button which is right above the words you are typing. Second from the right, next to the "bullets" icon. It's a notepad with a red arrow. If you hold your cursor over it it will say what it is. Remember, you have to highlight again the words you copied and pasted into your reply before selecting the quote button. You can also preview your reply to make sure it is correct.
