This is the second time in a couple of months that they have done this. I ordered a 2015 1oz gold panda and received a 2014 gold 1oz panda. I really wanted the 15 panda. Is there any difference in value or is it all extrinsic value that I am out?

Not sure about the difference in value, but I think you should get what you wanted!

When did you order them ? I don't believe the 2015's were even available until yesterday. Some sites are even saying the 14th.

That is probably where the mix up happened. The 2015s could, a big could, have a bigger collector value than the 2014's. The Chinese are no longer putting the metal, size and fineness on their bullion coins as they switch to the metric standard on their coins. This could just be a one year thing and therefore potentially collectible.

I can only tell you I ordered the 15, my invoice says 15 and I received a 14. Its still a very nice round but I feel I need to get what I ordered in the condition I ordered it. It was sealed. To be fair they did give me a 20 dollar coupon for my next order. It helps.

I'm thinking it gets returned (hopefully at their expense) and you receive what you ordered and paid for.

I do not see why that is a complicated answer?

Hi edteach, I apologize for the mixup with the Gold Pandas. I see you already spoke to our Customer Service team and received a coupon code towards your next order, but let me know if there is anything else we can do. We'd be happy to send you a return label and exchange the coin as well.

Hi, JM. Thanks for the reply. Yes there is something you can do for me. I have had an order waiting for shipment. I believe its the British 1oz Britannia coins. The others should be set aside for me, Maple leafs, Aussi Kolas and the Chinese pandas. I see the date on the Britannias have been moved from the 12th to the 18th, if you can check on that for me I would appreciate it. Thanks.

You are correct - the entire order will ship as soon as the 2015 Britannia's are available which we are expecting to be around 12/18. Let me know if you need anything else in the meantime.
