May not be just a fake anything since no denomination is shown. Could well be just a medal or something to look like a coin. IF you didn't pay much for it, could be the start of a different type of collecting.

Flowing Hair and Draped Bust halves and dollars had the denomination on the edge lettering, a feature which is lacking on almost all modern fakes.
