If I remember correctly the denomination is on the lettered edge for real ones.

To "check" your coins without having everyone here know.... Go to google and enter the date and denomination and PCGS coinfacts. You'll go to the older (free) version of the site and you'll see an excellent image of a genuine coin. Compare things, small details to overall "look". The weight is listed as is the diameter. A little leg work can prevent people from buying copy coins.
