Can someone help me with this token?
It is square with an engraving of a man holding a sword and an orb.
Diameter: 17mm, weight:4,65 grams

What material is it?
And what more of the reverse inscription can you read? To me it looks like there is something, a date ending in '7' perhaps.

Btw, the representation on the obverse is that of a sovereign (king); with sword, royal orb and crown.

That's what came into my mind as well, but couldn't associate the weight with any specific coinage.
What coin was it made for?
And what else is inscribed on those weights?

Based on the design, date and likely location of use, I'd assume the weight was intended for a gold real (5.32 grams) or the carolusguilder (2.91 grams); the first two coins depicted here. Here's an Antwerp real.

It weighs considerably less than a real, though. I don't know if the weight might have lost that much mass due to corrosion, or if the piece was intended for use on an asymmetric coin balance.
