This looks like a medieval penny to me. It is only 16mm. I hope there is enough detail to identify it. Can anyone tell me what it is?

I have no idea. I'm sure that Medieval will probably know though.

Thanks for the compliment but my knowledge barely scratches the surface in many areas, there are plenty places who used lion rampant, need to try to decipher the inscription (or at least part of it).

Need the picture of the other side of this coin, the two images are from the same side just slightly rotated.

Btw, likely Poland - part of the inscription reads WLADISLAVS.

Postscript:

Actually WLADILAVS SECUNDS, ie Wladilaus II.

Oops! I didn't notice they were the same. It is actually a one sided coin, and that made me remember that Petrus and Philadelphian already identified it a while back. I had forgotten about it as I had not recorded the pertinent info for this particular coin. It is: the rampant lion of the kingdom of Bohemia, and reads WLADISLAVS SECVNDS, for King Vladislav II (1471-1516).

I feel ridiculous posting the same coin twice. So sorry.

-and thanks, Medieval!

Then is should be a Weisspfennig from Kuttenberg with a weight of ~0.4g.
