A coin I just picked up in my holiday travels--it's now my
most modern overdate--way past the time when most mints have added the date directly to the hub.
When I saw it, I suspected a 1973/1--which was later
confirmed by Krause. Obviously, during the era, the Bogota mint shows
rather lax quality standards. While this is an MS coin, the portrait is pretty terrible!

Either a very worn hub, die, or both. The overdate isn't worth a premium, but still a fun find.

FYI to coin photographers out there--I shot this with my 200mm (non-macro) lens--a serviceable photo
for now.
