Hi, I have three Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency One Riyal Banknotes. One of them looks like it has had the left and right sides cut off (by what... I don't know, most likely scissors). The note appears to have a larger inner border than the other two notes. I wanted to know if this is an error or damage? Any and all help is appreciated! Thanks for your time. Here are pics! In the first picture of the three notes, the one in the middle is the one I am asking about. The second picture is the bottom note I am talking about. The same with the next two pictures of bills. The last two are of the bill itself.

Not an error. Cut off with scissors like you said. Cutting errors have extra paper.

Sorry I was not clearer about my question. I am wanting to know why the portrait and inner border of the middle note is bigger than the other two? Here are pictures to help illustrate. On the last set of the three notes, I posted the image cropped where the black boxes containing the denomination are. What I want to know is if they used different plates to make these notes and why is the bottom one bigger if they are all cropped the same?

The middle note is different from the first note. Printed at a different time and using different plates.

The middle note is a P-21b (signatures - with abbreviation for "acting" right below left signature) the other two are either P-21a or P-21c. I cannot make out the detail in the script.

You can check this site for more detail http://www.banknote.ws/COLLECTION/c.../SAR0021.htm
