Carl, It sounds less like duplicates and more like hoarding!! Really though, for me it's just hard to part with coins. Hopefully if you don't sell them, when the time comes you have kids or grandkids that appriciate the hobby so they can enjoy them also. There,s nothing quite like looking through a large group of coins you come across.

You could put them together in a lot and sell them on ebay. I've sold several lots of common date silver recently and gotten 8.5-9 times face value.

Carl,
Next time there is a flee market or coin show, buy a table and sell some yourself. Dealers will be trying to get the most they can for their silver, so you should be able to get a fair price for yours. Ty

Carl, Often times when I read your posts, they make me want to see your collection. I have been collecting since the 1950's, and probably don't have 1/20th as much as you. Stay proactive regarding cancer. That's what I have done, and so far, so good. Best wishes, and best of luck.

Gary Burke: Thanks for the well wishes and same to you. I do have a massive amount of coins I guess. Just broke the 100 Whitman Classic Album mark and almost all filled. Got to be an end someday. And for Tykimeister: We have numerous flea markets and a coin show almost every weekend around here. However, having a table at any would NOT be advantageous for me, unfortunately. Without a Bladder, Prostate, associated nerves and Lymph Nodes the only place I could have such a table would be in the washroom. I sure would be noticed with a table in there.

Great to see you're doing better Carl. Wish I lived closer so I could have a gander at that collection as well.

Too many duplicates? What does that mean? I have several thousand Barber dimes, same for quarters and half dollars. And--- I am still looking and still buying. Too many? What is that?
