Has anybody ever done the NGC 10% discount that they offer if you use the link on ebay? It seems like a good deal if you only want a couple coins graded and do not want to sign up with one of their programs or have a dealer send it on for you. To bad others do not do this.

I am not familiar with how long this has been offered on ebay . I wonder if this has anything to do with the recent ruling of no numerical grades in the auctions on ebay - UNLESS it is slabbed.
Sounds like both companies will make alot of money with a deal like that.

I tried once, but I kept on getting (and still do) this message "The system cannot find the file specified."

the real advantage to having a dealer send it in is that the dealer is going to look at the coins and advise if its worth sending.... I tell over 1/2 the folks who bring me coins not to waste their money....most of the ones who dont listen and up paying the fees and getting bodybags for their troubles

TheCoinfest I could say the same thing about over half the people who bring coins to me. But not because the coins would be body bagged its mainly because the value of the coin would not be increased sufficiently to cover the cost of the grading process.

Wow, that's pretty cool. I have several gold $2.50 indians to send them, so this might help price wise.

I went ahead and tried the website and it worked fine. I am sending in three different tiers of coins and it did all of them at the same time, on different invoices. It gave me the 10% discount and the shipping was only a few dollars higher than the printed info on the NGC submission form. Now all I have to hope for is good grading!
