denny7000 Pillar of the Community Canada 1018 Posts	Posted 12/29/2014 11:48 am The first two are 2008 and the last one is a 1998 zinc and I find that year has a lot of plating issues. Sorry but I can't get a better photo as my camera is limited. Report this Post to the Staff
Vancouver IslandCoinKid Forum Kid Canada 1074 Posts	Posted 01/02/2015 9:53 pm Yes it is common for the years 1997 to around 2001 for the zinc pennies to have pimples. Kind of a deficient plating if you ask me. However the top two look like a light spread out attack of a Struck Through Grease or a worn die. Very nice examples! Report this Post to the Staff
