While living in Chicago, most banks did. Now in nashville, most banks I've stopped at only take rolls. I don't dump much, but would be nice to have a place to go when I do have some!

Thanks!

Here, some credit unions have coin star machines that customers can use free of charge to dump loose change and some grocery stores have them and take a small percentage. You might call around and see what options exist in Nashville. Interestingly enough some banks here will not just take rolled change at face value because evidently some people was putting nickles here and there inside quarter rolls and pennies inside nickle rolls so if it isn't in a clear wrapper and you have several rolls they have to open each one and verify the coins inside. Some people have way too much time on their hands I guess?

youngen19, Greetings:

You can take a gift code to an online retailer (eg Amazon) at 100% FV or get 'cash' (bills? check? never did this) at (if memory serves) 5% fee or donate to a charity.

I take the Amazon coupons, and pass them to my kids who, unlike Grumpy, are not boycotting the 'zon.

Be sure to check the return slot for rejected coins; many of these will be accepted the second time through.

Thank you both. I have gone to Coinstar but miss having a bank that can dump fast and return cash without a fee.
