I was bequeathed this medal from my grandfather a little over a year ago and through searching was able to find a bit of information about this medal. I figured I could post it here and see if anyone else has information about this such as: How many were given out? Potential value? Any interesting facts about it. I've searched but did not find any results on this forum. Any information would be incredible helpful. Lot #414 http://www.maineantiquedigest.com/c...ential83.pdf The lot description said the last time they had offered a bronze version was 20 years ago and it sold for $192.50. What the one offered in 2013 brought I don't know, but I can try to find out Monday.
