And, is there a reference list that gives approximate weights of a medal/medallion by it's diameter (inches and/or mm)) and alloy (gold, silver, sterling, copper. bronze, etc.)? Thanks... It's impossible to determine the weight of an object just by a diameter; you'd need to know the thickness, too. It could be really thin, it could be really thick. There is no fixed ratio of thickness to diameter for coins or medals.
