Why do people go to the trouble of this? If you figure a roll is worth ~ 60$ spot, if it has some older ones mixed in, $80. It seems obvious that these arent original wraps...

Been wanting to go through an unsearched roll, but I think they are unicorns unless you find a indiscriminate collection somewhere, and they are likely to be all the same year?

They're unicorns. Every single one. The term "unsearched" should slip off of anything numismatic as if it were greased. Flawless definition of "oxymoron:" "unsearched roll."

Look @ his sold listings. Nearly every roll is crimped w/the kind you can get from String. Avoid.
Also, I see he's sold 100s of "window wrapped" rolls. No such thing. I've seen it is used more liberally on the bay. Avoid again!

A lot of rolls like this were stacked in the 60s. The fact that they're stamped 1945 doesn't mean anything. Each coin was put in this roll specifically. So what if they throw in a common date AG barber or two, you still won't get your money's worth.
