I seldom go to coin stores or buy on line. Way to many coin shows around and coins are much cheaper there. If you mean Peoria, Illinois, remember there are numerous coin shows in Illinois all the time. Look up coin shows. Might be some right by you. A coin store is normally OK but you have to remember that they have to support the store with profits from coins.

I try to always pay cash, and I always purchase on their terms. I regularly see people haggling over the price of silver bars, rounds, or ASE, etc. I don't do that.

I have 2 LCS that I usually rotate between, and there's also a third one I'll go into on occasion. Both have gotten to know me well, and one especially remembers me and keeps reminding me that he's still looking for that 1983 Olympic silver dollar I was asking about.
