Problem is gone!
Super fast now.
I did re-boot, and maybe that's what fixed it.
Thanks for the offer to help.

It has been terribly slow for me too for a while. I am on DSL and no other sites that I regularly visit are doing it. Long lags. It happens when entering a forum or entering a thread. We are talking minutes. Same thing on IE, Firefox and Opera. It is not happening 100% of the time but very often.
Nothing unusual shows up speedwise between a tracert of here and a tracert of CoinPeople or PCGS.

Just to give you an idea...It took 2 minutes and 12 seconds to get from the Coincommunity.com home page to the reply screen that I am on by clicking Go Straight To Forums, Problems, Sooo Slow, Reply To Topic.

I'm using a Mac iBook 900 through a portable Direcway satellite internet system which has mid-DSL speeds (125 up, 500+ down). I've found CCF pages (topics) varies widely from less than one second up to more than 17 seconds for a post or change of topics. This variation is inconsistent from one page or post to the next. The links to the left and at the top, the navigation links (All Forums, Forum Guidelines, etc) and the banners at the top seem to pop in very fast, but the actual text of the topic seems to appear slowly if the page is to be slow. Also, I've seen some hangups on the Google Search block. HTH. Fred

I took out the Google box and the donate button, let's see if that makes a difference.

Right now, it is zipping along pretty good but I am not sure if that is from the changes or not. I will let you know if I see it slow again on my end.

Yesterday the CCF page was loading very slowly at about 9:30 am PDT(T3 connection, Mac powerbook g4, explorer5.2 for mac). Later in the morning and today it was loading normally for me. Worked fine for me last night as well (dell pc, comcast DSL) Don

Just in the last 8 minutes or so (1:07 pm EDT-10 am on the left coast...) I had fast loading on my response to metalam's post in the detcting forum, and a response which was on a geologic time frame when I attempted to reply to 20 cent in the USCF. Don
