talk to SPP, I remember a topic around here somewhere mentioning this. 1969 are known for the proof and the 1968 are known for the BU business strikes so yes this is rare

My Charlton shows a dash on the PL column for silver 1968. They exist in nickel, so maybe wrong planchet?

The silver 68s I see on ebay are listed as MS so good question.

I have a 68 silver quarter but believe it is a MS business strike.
If there is a PL quarter, it probably was broken out of a PL Set.
