This banknote reminds me of a 1930s Chinese Islamic Republic of Turkestan note with some similarities..........but not precisely.

The partciulars. Printed on an extremely low quality paper.
150mm x 100mm

Anyone easily recognize this note type?

thanks!
Paul

It is a 3-tael (叁两) note issued by the head of the Hetian (Hotan) Prefectural Government ('e區行"e).

(Unfortunately, the software on this forum does not display certain Chinese characters.)

It is dated the 25th year of the Republic of China ('國二十"年) which would be the year 1936.

You can see an authentic note here.

However, please be aware that according to this Chinese website, there are many reproductions (fakes) of this note.

I am not familiar with these notes and am unable to authenticate yours.
