I haven't got too many early Swedish coppers, but here's one:   Sweden 1/12 Skilling 1802 with a clip. |

1802 8 reales of Spain, Madrid mint. The 8 reales of Spain used a different style portrait than the colonial mints. And the reverse design was the simplified coat of arms without the pillars of Hercules.  |

pepactonius - That's actually a token (Pollet = Token), but they circulated as any other coin at that time. I've seen those pieces around but because they say 'token' I haven't really been that interested in buying one. My next entry will be (according to my collection status) when we reach 1768. I should really get more Swedish copper coins. Don't know about plate money  |
