I know there's not much time left, but was just curious about authenticity, and grade.

If you have the money pull the trigger. I believe it's an S-293 close star variety. 1813 is an extremely difficult year to obtain. My fear is that the bidding is going to go through the roof in the last minute. Seller has good feedback.

Hey thanks, I really appreciate the comments. Just a little too rubber kneed on raw coins that I don't know much about. Wasn't dying to buy this, just wanted to open a discussion. My biggest fear was that it was a fake. The funny looking second S in STATES had me concerned. I also notice some weakness on the bottom of the obverse, and the top of the reverse...assuming uneven strike? I wish the photos were bigger. Kinda hard to see the surfaces well.

Edit: Spiked from $500 to $790 in the last 10 seconds.

Buyer might still have a deal. I'd love to see that coin with better contrast.

I agree, it looks like a nice coin from the pictures.
I hope the buyer is pleasantly surprised.
