Trying to help out a friend here, can you give me any info on these two gold coins. No weights or size at the moment and sorry about the photos. A general area would help.

Kushani coins. Need weight and size to determine the denomination.

Around 20mm and each is a little over 7g. Was thinking one of the Vasudeva kings. Don't know what has happened to the other photo. Will fix.

Size and weight (slightly low) match the dinars.

I believe these a Dinar from the Shaka series. These are from the mid 4th century AD.

Thanks, I will try and have a look. Still trying to get better photos, the weights are 7.8 and 7.9 but I don't know which coins is which yet.

7.8 grams plus fits nicely with the dinars and 20mm as well, so you can lock that down. As you can see from the above linked Kushani pages, there are quite some types around. The top obverse seems to match Shaka, see the tamgha. The bottom one seems to be later.
